Places: Mace and Puget Museum
Goals: The main objective is to establish a close contact between contemporary art and the academic population, from university students to schoolchildren. The museum will adapt the contents of the workshops and visits to each of these academic levels because our purpose is to promote a better disposition of students towards works of art to get them to recognize them as real and positive values which enrich their creative skills and their outlook on contemplative, civic, intersubjective and critical behaviours.

METHODOLOGY
Based on direct experience, it demands the utmost cooperation of all stakeholders.
There are three steps to follow:

1.- Before the visit
It is mostly incumbent on the learning centre and visit applicants, who must inform students about all practical details and the essential best civic predisposition, apart from the length of the visit, the location of the museum and its features and content.

2.- During the visit
The group will be met at the entrance by museum staff, who will guide the visit and lead the workshops. Depending on availability and taking suggestions from the group, our staff will adapt the visit, focusing the interest on our own collections or temporary exhibitions. The expected duration of the visit is an hour and a half.

3.- After the visit
We offer the possibility of taking part in one of these three workshops:
Workshop on freehand drawing:
(Materials: paper, pencil, stump or cloth).
Workshop on art criticism:
(Materials: notebook, pen or pencil).
Workshop on education for citizenship:
(No other material than the desire to take part).

Each of them will last for about one hour.

CALENDAR
The offer of the visits and workshops programme will take place from September to June inclusive, from Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 1.30pm.
